Denise's Life Story
Denise Marie Brown - Thompson, A.K.A "Niecey" was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 28, 1952, to the late Henry W. Brown and Elsie Downs - Brown whom both preceded her in death. Niecey departed this life on September 20, 2022. Niecey received her education in Baltimore School System. For many years she was married to her devoted husband Willie Thompson, who she loved and cherished. Niecey comes from a large family surrounded by love. She always enjoyed family gatherings. Her doors were always open, and she had a love for music. If the music was playing you would always catch Niecey on the dance floor. Niecey was very loving and had so much love for her family. "Everyone loved Aunt Niecey" her nieces and nephews would say. She had an unconditional love for her son Kenneth and granddaughter Kenitra (she cherished her Pebbles). She was the glue to keep the family together. Her soul was pure, her heart was genuine, and her compassion was very authentic. Through several years of battling illness, Niecey was very oriented and still had most of her independence. On several occasions her breathing would get the best of her, that she eventually needed around the clock care to assist with her breathing. Niecey's primary care was home based, by her son Kenneth (Primary Care Provider), granddaughter Kenitra (Secondary Care Provider) and her daughter in law Monique which she called her (Alternative Care Provider). She was preceded in death by her (Son) Dennis Coleman Jr.; (Daughter) Lakeisha Grayson, (Husband) Willie Thompson; (Sisters) Veronica Johnson, Lillie Brown, Dorothy Anderson, Paula Brown; (Brothers) Henry Brown Jr., George Brown, Charles Brown, and Daniel Brown. She leaves to cherish memories Kenneth Coleman (Son), Kenitra Coleman (Granddaughter), Monique Johnson (Daughter in law), Sisters; Mary Simmons, Barbara Jordan, Margaret Banks, Stephanie Brown, Annette Brown; Brother David Brown. And a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
