Obituary

Jean Benoit Pierre, born on November 11, 1945, was called home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026. A man of deep faith, Jean lived his life grounded in the values of the Catholic Church. He believed in the power of prayer, the strength of family, and the grace of God. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, and a loyal friend to many.

Jean was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginie Lauria Pierre, who passed in September 2025. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and commitment, serving as an example of unity and devotion. He leaves behind his son, Joseph Moise Pierre, and his daughter, Marie Elie Pierre. He was a proud grandfather to Brayden and Jamesom Pierre, who brought him immense joy. Jean was the second oldest of eleven siblings and the first among them to be called home, leaving behind a large and loving family.

Known for his warm heart and welcoming spirit, Jean touched many lives and made friends wherever he went.

May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Closing Prayer (Haitian Creole) Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa, resevwa nanm Jean Benoit Pierre nan lapè etènel. Padone tout peche li yo, epi ba li repo nan limyè ak lanmou Ou. Senyè, konsola fanmi li ak tout moun ki nan lapenn yo. Ban nou fòs ak lafwa pou nou kontinye mache nan chemen Ou. Nou mande tout bagay sa yo nan non Jezi

Kris, Sovè nou. Amèn.
