Jimmie Dean Richardson Sr. was born August 7,1957 in Whittakers NC to the late Willie Richardson and Roxella Richardson. Jimmie was called home on March 31,2023. He’s proceed in death by his sisters SueElla Cooper, Annie Ruth Small, Magnoria Lynch, and brother Rudolph Richardson. Jimmie received his High school diploma from Northern Nash high school in 1975. That same summer he moved to Baltimore, MD. where he met his best friend, his one and only true love and wife Darlene Richardson. He also leaves behind his son Jimmy Richardson ( Connie ), Jeneene Anderson ( Melvin ) And Jamara Richardson, 5 grandsons Jaylen ( CJ ) Richardson, Jakari and Jay’Mar Richardson, Jamari Colbert and Marley Ragland, 2 Granddaughters Danyelle and H’Ven Richardson, and 2 Great-Grandsons Joseph and De’Marcus Smith. He also leaves behind 3 brothers Willie (Rooster) Richardson (Gloria), Horace (Zander) Richardson (Claira) and Roosevelt Richardson, 3 sisters Edna May Cole (Morgan), Rethella Franklin and Almeta Cooper, And a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In 1979 Jimmie joined the Army where he served as an MP and where he was a PFC-E3. He was a Jack of all trades. From working at Pimlico Race Track to operating forklifts, even delivering hot water heaters. Jimmie enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, taking walks, watching old westerns, playing catch with his grandsons, riding motorcycles and old school cars. Surprisingly he also was a hell of a cook, Jimmie was always there with a helping hand if it was one of his sisters or brothers. Jimmie didn’t mind giving a helping hand. It wasn’t a Saturday that went pass that he wasn’t at one of his grandsons football games. And if you wanted some colored commentary all you had to do was stop pass his house on Sunday to watch the Ravens game with him. Jimmie will truly be missed.
