Sara Nash Clyburn - Celebration of Life
Obituary
Sara Nash Clyburn of Laurel, MD, was born on September 12, 1940, in Campbell County, VA, to the late James Nash, Sr. and Elenora Herndon Nash. She married Charles Clyburn in Buffalo, NY, in January 1961. Sara and Charles were longtime residents of Rockford, IL, before relocating to Laurel, MD, in 2002 to be closer to their family. Sara departed this earthly life on March 12, 2024.
She leaves to cherish memories of her life, her husband of 63 years, Charles; her children: Anthony (Lisa) Clyburn of West Columbia, SC, Angela (Donald) Hampton of Gaithersburg, MD, Adrienne (Tracy) McAbee of Laurel, MD, Arlene (Michael) Clyburn-Miller of Laurel, MD, and Alan (Sabrina) Clyburn of Elkridge, MD; her siblings: Margaret Thomas of Hampton, VA, James (Iris) Nash, Jr. of Forest, VA, Delores Hicks of Lynchburg, VA, Connie (Calvin) Powell of Silver Spring, MD, and Franklin Nash of Silver Spring, MD; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends.
Sara was predeceased by her sister, Watenia Brummell, and a great granddaughter, Remedi Marie Clyburn.
Family visitation will be at 11:00 am, and the memorial service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Colesville United Methodist Church, 52 Randolph Rd, Silver Spring, MD.
