Vince was born in, Baltimore, MD on May 2, 1962, to Robert and Ruthie Bailey. He

loved God, his wife and his daughter. His family was very important to him and he was

a devoted husband and father. Vince was an incredible man and exemplified the 3 P’s:

Present in the home, Provider and Protector. He was a very outgoing individual who

never met a stranger. He loved traveling with his beloved wife, golf, old television

shows, and funny videos on social media. His greatest passion was working with youth,

especially young men. Vince was Co-Founder for the Boys to Men Ministry, a

mentoring organization.

Vince was a graduate of Towson University and a proud Member of Alpha Phi Alpha

Fraternity, Inc. It is with this organization that he gained lifelong brothers and friends.

Vince served important ministerial roles in The Lord’s Church in Baltimore, MD and at

Timberlake Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, Vince’s theology was to stand on the Word

of God for in it was love, salvation, life, hope, peace, joy, healing, and freedom. Vince

shared God’s love with all those around him; whether it was a call to a friend in the

hospital or faithful Christian encouragement to a peer, Vince could be counted on to

reach out to those around him.

Vince and Monica married January 18, 1987 and began their journey as partners in

marriage, friendship and parenting. They were an incredible example of how to love

unconditionally. The marriage and homelife of the Baileys served as a powerful

example of a faith-filled family.
